Yo, any of you guys ever hear of a LB by the name of Donnie Edwards. Don't be surprised if he's in the starting lineup. That boy is a BEAST.

That feels like a really bad idea. Henderson did prove himself to be a true home run threat last year. While I may agree that he might not be the reliable #2 guy we need in the receiver corps, he's too valuable in his niche to get rid of even with the hands.
How about drafting a WR say like Rice if he is there. Then you will have to make Closton happy with a new contract. I have no answers here. no matter what you do you have a mess. I say keep Horn
We can't afford Joe at his current contract. Joe has stated that he's not going to renegotiate. Also Joe's inconsistency is injuries. His hands are not helpful if he's not on the field.

It was stated when Joe signed this contract that it was essentially for 3 years. This is the third year and the first year of a big cap hit. After last year I have doubts that it can be worth its value.

Brees has proved that he will deliver the ball to any receiver out on the field. There's no Joe, or Colston, or any other receiver lockin with him.

If Joe will stay for less money, then fine. Otherwise look for a reliable #2, move Colston to the #1, and keep Henderson on as the home run guy.

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Too old and wants too much money.

If you're going to spend serious money at the MLB position, get a young guy in there.

I still don't know what's the deal with Danny Clark. We have the guy on staff and he's a stud. I just can't figure out why Gibbs wouldn't put him on the field full time.

SFIAH, I posted the folllowing previously; I followed up on the stats of Edwards, Clark, and Briggs and here are the findings for the last four years (2003 stats are first);

Edwards, last four years with the Chargers;
Tackles 122, 112, 104, 97
Assists 39, 46, 40, 44
Sacks .5, 1, 3, 2.5
Int 2, 5, 2, 3

Clark, one year with the Jags, two years with Raiders, and one with the Saints;
Tackles 29, 98, 82, 23
Assists 11, 31, 31 6
Sacks 0, 2, 1, 0
Int 0, 0 ,0 ,0

Briggs, last four years with Bears;
Tackles 65, 102, 83, 109
Assists 13, 24, 24, 21
Sacks 0, .5, 2, 1
Int 1, 1, 2, 2

Clark is three years older than Briggs and three years younger than Edwards.

I think the stats speak for themselves as to performance on the field. I like Clark, but he ain't no Edwards when it comes to production and performance. Maybe the reason Clark wasn't on the field more...good run stuffer by lacks cover skills.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over, over, and over again...and expecting a different outcome!
