Hells yeah I would, too!
Good player and a solid guy. Him backing Drew for a season would be worth the money for the solid safety net he proved to be. Do I think we'll get him? No. |

After last season's success, he's not going to settle for anything less than a starting job, with starter money. My gut tells me that he will end up in Houston.

Agreed. He'll get decent money, even as a backup/mentor. He will definitely cost someone a job.
BTW- Why is everyone so down on Martin? Sure he's no Kerry Collins-Heath Shuler-Aaron Brooks, but do we really need an upgrade here? |

I don't see how you can spend the money that Garcia is going to be asking when you have a passable back-up already and some serious needs on D and at TE.
There are definitely some more attractive FAs out there. |

by this i mean, a non ending season injury, but none the less, 4-8 weeks out, and just about out of the playoffs unless you have someone who can step in and win.....
would you rather have a proven qb or.................smitty |

After the great season Garcia just had I think he'll want a large package deal, money and a chance at being the starter..
I would love to have him come to N.O though, he'd make one hell of a backup to Brees.. IMO it's a long shot in signing him as a Saint.. |
