I say stay put at 27 and see what falls to you. You have 3 or 4 first round grade LBs, 4 or 5 CBs, 6 or 7 WRs. If for some reason, you see these guys really start flying off the boards around pick #20 or if a particular player (like a Patrick Willis) really tumbles down to around 20, then you think about a trade with Denver. The have been needing a pass rusher to really solidfy their defense for years and are rumored to be looking to move around the draft in order to get that DE. Per the trade value table, Denver's 1st is worth 800 and our first is worth 680. So a swap of first rounders and Grant wouldnt be a good trade on our part as I would imagine that his value is greater than 120 (the value of 95th overall pick) so I would think Denver would have to throw in another pick. But if we traded Grant, we would need to draft a DE early on.

Everything is just speculation until we see what happens with David. If the Colts match, then we definitely go DB in the first round. If they do get him, then it's BPA.
Either way, I think there is enough talent to stay put. |
