you know, i've been looking at the qb's................
let's post some numbers that may surprise, shant we? (my english axe-cent) if the only statistic that matters is winning, chris leak is the man..... now, i am talking from high school to college but lets do a further comparison. if you compare wins, loses with the top qbs , leak is the man.....he is 35-wins to 47 starts....2nd is zabransky at 33-38 with brady at 29-46 and jamarcus at 25-29.......... in high school he threw a national record 185 tds and ranks 2nd all time with 15,000 plus yds passing..... he ranks 1st as the all time leading high school passer in north carolina history.....two other qbs own that title in their collective states in this draft........they are, jamarcus with 10,744, and drew tate with 12,000 plus yds...... now, i am not taking away and building up because surely if you followed quinn, he is a hellava qb...... the only knock, real knock against leak is his size, a 1/2 inch shorter than 6 ft, that's about our qbs size, isn't it? so, for a late round pick, who knows? smitty |
