I think Lionel Dalton wouldn\'t be a bad addition. He seems to be the only name with an upside possible in his career.

Need a defensive tackle?
I\'m going to disagree with lumm0x for once. :P If I had to choose from that list, I\'d have Dalton second to last, right in front of Washington. Washington is good, but he\'s 35 years old and the fattest DT in the league, which I believe we are trying to get away from. Give me Hall, he\'s shown flashes of brilliance in the past, and he\'s in the prime of his career.

All great points,
But I\'ll take a 320 lb Grady Jackson over all of them. Damn, why can\'t this guy see what a stud DT he could be if he\'d just back away from the dinner table? I think he must have some mental issues too. He\'s not just trying to frickin slim down to look good, its his multi-million dollar job on the line! Grady Jackson at a fit 320 lbs is probably flirting with a pro-bowl invite. This guy must be dumb as a post. |

Actually I think Tweeky has it right. I kinda ruled out Grady just because he\'s here already. Hall is entering his 10th season and wasn\'t playing much last year. He definitely is more or a pocket collapsing DT than Dalton. Dalton seems more like Norman Hand as far as size but his attitude and hussle is better. I agree that Washington\'s tooth is way too long. He is able to stop the run though and his disappearance from the Bears lineup last year really showed what he was worth. I have never liked Dan Wilkinson and believe he has nothing left to show anyone.
I like McGlockton\'s play but is he a good presence in the locker room? He can\'t be worse than Grady\'s attitude though. I just see Lional Dalton and Travis Hall as the only names that will come in with good work ethic and be good off field. Dalton would have to keep his mouth out of the trough since New Orleans seems to be a good place for fat guys to get fatter. Why did we let Glover leave? Why? Why? |

We have two potential stars on this team that we really need to step up. One is Grady Jackson, the other is Victor Riley.
I see other coaches able to turn players around. Take Bill Parcells for example. If he were here, either Riley and Jackson would step up or they wouldn\'t be here. Sometimes I question Haslett\'s ability to get the most out of his players. |
