Good analysis, Ajun. That puts it in perspective.

It seems apparent to me that the Front Office was not enamoured with much of the "big name" talent on the board. In Meacham they saw a potential impact rookie and must not have seen anyone comparable on the other side of the ball.

Young and Alleman both seem to get their highest marks in character and raw talent, and you could make an argument that we are in a position to let these guys develope for a year or two. With the Detroit trade, we get a few more picks in the bargin-bin section of the draft. I'm all for this if it means that we get more looks at talent without having to spend big money. Now we can go after some of those project guys.

I give the overall effort a B.
