What does the asterisk mean?
Who's this Joe Horn you speak of? Some changes I would make: Center : Jerry Fontenot over Hill. Fontenot had a command of the o-line like no other center in N.O. TE : Wesley Walls over Brenner. Brenner was a favorite of mine, but I give the nod to Walls. RB: Easily the Deuce over Rogers. Hilliard stays there until the 50th Anniversary team, when Reggie takes his place after the multiple Lombardis KR : Mel Gray over Lewis. The Beerman is fast, but Mel Gray was fun to watch returning punts. Another one of those guys who didn't get the spotlight because he played in N.O. |
