this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I cannot wait for this game. I haven't seen the Saints play out here since the NFC West was still alive. How many of you California Saints fans are making the trip up to watch? There's a friend of mine ...

Saints vs Fourty Niners!!!
I cannot wait for this game. I haven't seen the Saints play out here since the NFC West was still alive. How many of you California Saints fans are making the trip up to watch? There's a friend of mine in Sacramento, named Larry Johnson, that used to be on here, that I hope shows up to the game. Him, and his friend had voodoo dolls, putting hexes on the SF fans last time. Larry! Where are you???

I still get a special feeling everytime we beat the 9ers. We owe them so much we will never get it paid off.

I dont like San Francisco a great deal I must admit. It too wierd and too screwed up for me to like as a city. There are some great sites like Chinatown and it has some great history as far as culture goes like the Summer of Love and the Bay Area bands like the Dead and the Airplane. But I cannot stand the city, it has no soul, no flavor, no it factor like New Orleans does. Sure New Orleans is wild and can be raucous at times, but its classy at the same time as well. New Orleans has culture, it has that it factor that makes me like it a lot.
I like the Saints just as much as I like the city of New Orleans. Their both tops in my book and my mind. |

I love NOLA and I rep my hometown 24/7, but that doesn't take away from the bay area and all that it has to offer. Now, that being my opinion, I hate the Niners, as I have always hated them. I cannot wait to go to that game and surround myself with as many Black and Gold jerseys as possible. My girlfriend was born in SF and I got her a brand new Reggie Bush jersey for the game. Steve, I apologize
Steve, to my earlier post about SF, maybe perhaps I was too harsh on it. It wasnt my intention to bash it, just give a critique of it that was perhaps too hard on it. Its a matter of opinion I suppose. Like I said San Fran has a wonderful cultural history like the counterculture scene in the 60's and the diversity it has, I mean SF is very diverse. so I say to you Steve that is wasnt my intention to bash it, its your home and you always love your home no matter who you are.
