The greatest moment was playing the Rams in the playoff game after the 2000 season. "Hakim dropped the ball!" still rings in my ears. Freezing my butt off at the top of Soldier Field in January comes a close second. Thinking after Reggie''s 88 yard run that we were actually going to go to the Super Bowl after beating Chicago on their own frozen snowing field warmed me to the bottom of my heart. It slipped away eventually, but that felt pretty good for a while. I've already decided that I'll unfortunately have to pass on seeing the Saints host a NFC championship game in person. There's no way to justify getting a ticket then having to mortgage the house to get SB tickets just a couple of weeks later. I'm already planning on how I'm going to get into the stadium for the Saints first SB appearance. That will be the next greatest moment. Check out the new signature. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

...When Brees took a knee on the 3 yd line against Dallas with time on the clock. Considering the history between Parcells and Peyton, that was probably more emasculating than actually scoring the TD.

The no - atl game last year. No game has ever meant so much for me and the city. Our team was home again! When Gleason blocked that kick I thought to myself this is going to be a special night and it was. Something to tell my kids about one day. I bought a panoramic print of the inside of the dome from that game right before kickoff. It hangs in my living room. I will never forget that night it as long as I live!
