I think some people assume or like to think that the 2006 Saints were a one year wonder and whose memory is being relegated to the back of the glorious NFL's past. But as time goes on, putting it in perspective, the game that made me think that this team was the best I had ever seen was the Dallas game, that game was so wonderful for so many reasons, it had so much resting on it, we had been seen as the underdogs in the game to the upstart Dallas Cowboys tema led by new QB Tony Romo, but when the game started and we got out to that commanding lead, it was the best of times, it really was, we were playing perhaps our most dominant game in probably 20 years, we hadnt looked this good since the 91-92 seasons. It was fun, it was entertaining, and more importantly, it was where the Saints, this team was being dominanjt in all phases of the game. You couldnt have asked for a more perfect game, Brees was being all everything, Bush and Mcallister were in rare dynamic form, and Mike Karney stole the show.

In one night, you saw a disamantling of one team by another, Bill Parcells prided himself on being a great HC and a great tough guy, well that night he was surpassed, that night we saw a Saints team in rare form and for the course of the franchise's long dismal losing streak, we became that team nobody wanted to play.

It was like we became the New England Patriots, the famed 70's Steelers teams ,and the Doomsday Defense all wrapped up into one package.

and let the NFL see this team, and in fact let them doubt us, let them say we can't win more becuase we are an overacheiving team, the more the merrier for the critics and the pundits to decry,

we shall see who laughs last in Febuary in Arizona and by them that will be every Saints fans greatest moment
