the two would be gods. i agree. But Archies' story is completly different. no better or worse than the superbowl winner. Archie has the goal that all other QB's have to messure up to. Guts and loyality. that is my point. Drew is the closest thing I have seen to him. Now add a superbowl ring and I am sure Archie will be willing to slide over and make room for him on that pedestal. But Drew has to prove the tuffness. That is something I am sure he will do. No one QB will replace the other. No way.

We are all right.
Drew will and is right now, loved by all Saints fans. How can you not.?.? When Drew leads us to a SB victory, retires with a Saints jersey on his back, yes, I will put him in the same heart felt feelings I have for Archie. Hell, I love Bobby for less reasons. It's just great that we have a great QB, and not just great because he plays almost flawlessly. |

Hey blacksaint did you watch archie play?
Look I am knocking Drew at all but he has a long way to go in the "takening a beaten on the field" department. I hope he never has has too. If he does we would not be talking superbowls here. Nobody wins with that kind of OL. Like I said there is room on the pedistal for more than one QB legend in new orleans. Each will have thier own clam to fame. Heck I like Chris Evert myself. |

Archie Manning is an icon period, but Drew would become a GOD if he's able to bring a Championship home, I have all the love and the utmost respect for Archie, he will always have a place in my heart. But to perfectly honest with you Archie is not my favorite all-time #1 player in Saints history, he's definitely one of them, but my all time #1 Saints player is the Hall Of Fame snubbed Ultimate Warrior Ricky Jackson, talk about GUTS and TOUGHNESS, nobody in the Black & Gold had more.
