this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With the Dhani signing maybe we are starting a new dome patrol this year? Not comparing are anything just yet, but don;t be surprised if our defense is top 5 this year. You know the offense will be top 5....

Are ya'll sure we signed him? I can't find anything on it except on wikipedia, and they report anything.

Well, I saw the show, and just could not believe the love those guys got. Except from Madden, and who cares what that fat butt thinks. I don't think he was even alive long enough to see them play.
Anyway, great show and those guys FINALLY got some props! The part about the Saints never had a losing season with them was great. |

It's on Wikipedia now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhani_Jones
"Dhani Makalani Jones (born February 22, 1978, in San Diego, California) is an American football linebacker who just signed with the New Orleans Saints." |

Just finished watching the program and thought there was no way they could put The Dome Patrol #1 against the Steelers of the 70's and Giants of the early 90's. I thought maybe 5 or 6, because all those other corps won rings, but after watching the Dome Patrol again, and how the Saints had ZERO help for them on Offense or DL and DB they really ARE the best LBs. No other team had 4 LBs start in the pro Bowl, and the fact that none of them are getting any talk as Hall Of Fame is a disgrace to Pro Football.

Unfortunately much like the Pro Bowl, the Hall of Fame is nearly as much of a popularity contest. With some names the likes of Art Monk and Richard Dent not being enshrined as of yet and being overlooked for, in my opinion, much less worthy members (ala Michael Irvin this year).
I doubt we'll see any of the get in unfortunately. |

Those 4 basically made all offenses one-dimensional which made it easy pickings for the secondary. They deserve to be number one without question. |

I would like (for a minute), for the Nation of the Black & Gold to just imagine; close your eyes and imagine, this offense with the Dome Patrol defense. We're talking about Brees, McAllister, Bush, Colston, and that extremely underrated O-line paired with Jackson, Mills, Swilling, Johnson, Warren, Wilks, Geathers, and the rest of that DOMINATING defense. Man, all I can see or say is, SUPERBOWL, SUPERBOWL, SUPERBOWL. Oh yes, one more word comes to mind. DYNASTY!
