Is the Arena Bowl in N.O. a test??
It's not the Superbowl, but is it a start? We would be naieve to think that the NFL won't be watching every move by the city during the week of the July 29th Arena Bowl.
Is this a test for New Orleans as a host city? If the city can host this event well and without incident, will that move us up in the eyes of the Superbowl committee? I've heard a lot about moving the draft, getting a new stadium an ultimately, hosting another Superbowl.... Your thoughts on what the Arena Bowl means for the city's future chances...... |

The SB would bring in 8-10 times more people than the Arena Bowl. A better 'test' was last years's MNF game with ATL- sellout, thousands more in the streets, media circus. I think the Dome will host one more SB before a new stadium is built |
