Obviously Tom Benson has no desire to move or sell this team ...

http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index...8629109580.xml It appears the saints are doing everything in their powers to do good for the state and the city. Obviously Tom Benson has no desire to move or sell this team in his lifetime if it can be avoided. The latest proposal reported appears to benefit the state and the city. The saints will pay $40 mil of their money to current dome renovations and give the state/city 17 years to build a new stadium. With 17 years to plan and generate funds for a stadium not even louisiana can screw that up, huh? Now, can anyone argue a new stadium will not be needed to replace a 45 yr. old dome in 2020? |
