My 5 cents: the list instantly became a joke the second they put Neon Deion on it. According to this list of experts, at #16 he was the best cornerback and the 2nd best defensive back in the last 25 years. I thought a decent cornerback had to tackle people -- how many times did you see Neon take a duck or dive when the run came his way? Sure he had wheels, but top 25 football players gotta have the heart to dig deep when it counted and the courage to take on a hit when all #!@#%&$ was coming at them around the corner.

Deion changed some aspects of the game, I admit, with his speed and cover-corner abilities, but how much of that was self-promotion, media promotion as in (as well-put by Tobias-Reiper) Berman man-crush by ESPN, or league hopping from one successful team to another? Come on, put some REAL defensive football players on this list, ones who tackle. Best cornerback in the last 25 years? You may as put Fred Thomas on the list, because he's come up and hit more people than "Prime Time"!

Sorry Dude, I disagree. Sanders was one of the three best CB's in my life-time. Granted that's only 27 years, but he's up there with Darrell Green and Champ Bailey IMO. If I was making an all-star team over the last 25 years, he would definitely be a starting CB and return man.
