Nope? Then mission accomplished. As I said last week, this was a nationally televised intersquad practice. Note that Coach Payton didn't even bring the guys in early for training camp for this game. It meant nothing. I was happy just to see them play some downs and no one get hurt. Now if this were the 5th preseason game with the starters going 2.5 quarters, then maybe I'd have some concerns. They looked tired to me, right from the beginning. So no worries. They'll look much much better in the season opener.

I hope that doesn't put a premature fear into Meachem, cause he looks big and has good hands. Tyler should never have hamstrung him like that in the middle of the field. But Tyler's BEYOND a rookie, he's more like a nookie right now, so I can't say that he was aware of the defenders swarming around Meachem like they were.
