You're right that the team's record against some quality AFC opponents was abysmal. For me, as great as the Dallas game was, the Pitt game was equally disheartening. However, I think the team showed great drive and resiliency in the GB game when they were on the ropes in the Tundra. And when the lights were brightest (against Dallas) they absolutely blew the 'Boys out. That bodes well for this team.
We as a fan base have to "bury" the past; similar to what the Team did with last season. As they say, "perception is reality" and we need to stop fearing a return to mediocrity. We've got to have faith in our players and coaches and not look for the sky to start falling after a lack-luster performance in the first of five preseason games. An about Colston coming back to the ball: I'm not sure I agree there. You can't give defenders a chance to make a play on the ball. |
