this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Where are you tailgaters going to be Friday evening to kick off the 2007 season? I'll be driving in from Texas and be looking to drink some cold brews with fellow fans....

Not that many people really tailgate at Saints games because it's so close to the Quarter where you can party and get all the food and drink you want and then just walk to the SuperDome. Lots of people hang out on balconies and heckle opposing fans as they walk to the game in their team's colors, not that there will be that many that make the trip from Buffalo. You'll see lots of people at the intersection of Loyola and Poydras and places like.
