Re: Redo the last 2 Saints drafts
why would you draft Young, Palko and Colston earlier and burn the pick, when you could get them much later?

Re: Redo the last 2 Saints drafts
The POINT is only what we know as of today if you had the info in April of 06 an07 where they be picked. In the 4th if you need a HB pick Pierre Thomas.Yes you could have had him in the 7th rd but he made the team an pittman cant break a arm tackle was cut.If Thomas would have been cut the Rams would not get him as another team higer to the top of the wavier wire would have claimed him.Marques Colston would have been a 1rst rd pick by the way on another re draft site if you know now end of season the group of draft pros had him as the 16th pick in the 06 draft first rd that is.

Re: Redo the last 2 Saints drafts
With that logic Tom Brady would be a number 1, not a 6th rounder. Again, why take a guy earlier, and pay him the money that the lower selection merits, when you can get him later?

Hey, i'm still trying to figure out what he's trying to do with this thread. Maybe it's me and after drinking far to much booze in my 55 years, the loss of grey matter in my brain won't allow me to figure it out. Good luck to you guys that do understand it.

Re: Redo the last 2 Saints drafts
Only problem is you wouldn't have been able to draft Meachum as late as you have him drafted ... |
