Ive been dating my lady friend for many years now, yet this Thursday I beleive it will all come to an end.....She is a Colts Fan my friends...yes, a Colts fan..... I have decided to suspend our relationship from now til friday, pending the outcome of the game (Saints win=we are fine, saints lose=maybe we should see other people) Am I in the wrong? See if she can name at least 5 players to find out what kind of fan she really is....

Rivalries should be fun not the end of the road. I don't know how close you guys are and how seriously competitive your mindset is, but a lil good natured teasing is actually fun. Take it for what it's worth. I dated a girl that was an LSU fan and I am a UNO/Tulane fan. We teased each other about the game when they played but it was fun natured no one ever took it too far. I also dated a packer fan in '02 and we talked a little trash before the game and after the game i never heard from her again . It's isn't that bad atleast she isn't an ATL fan. That's a deal breaker right there.

Even if she were a Falcons fan, it wouldn't make any difference to me.

my brother lives in indy and has become a colts fan. we just have an understanding. with manning being a home-boy i can pull for the colts any day except on the days that they play the saints... then it's on.
you can have a steady & enjoyable crescendo of smack-talkin' leading up to the game... then an awkward evening that ends with one dejected colts fan and a saints fan that can't celebrate properly without risking future "relations". then you get to get behind a seasons worth of the best ball from each conference. |

I got all the advice you need there buddy. I am married to a Colts fan as well. I think I am more excited that the season is begining and facing the colts week one there is even more excitment. We are having a kid in Nov. I saw some infant Saints close and bought it. She looked at the Colts stuff and I said NO son of mine is going to wear any other color than black and gold. I won, that battle.
She's nervous about the game. Have fun, ya might even want to work out a bet for after the game... be carefully get something that is a win-win situation just in case, lol. |

i got me a woman that will kick the neighbors out at gametime (they're all old okies) & she can name the majority of the players, their positions, and even pick them out during a play. new orleans family true & true |

dont get me wrong....shes a great girl....and roots for the saints...but this week shes rooting against the saints....so shes the enemy
I'm just joking with all us this....but it has made for some tense times at home this week. and its barely tuesday. But she's not allowed in the "Saints Room" of the house. No setting foot in the game room, she could sabotage things.... |

So you disagree on teams, look at how much fun making up will be. Neither one of you can lose that one.
