players to worry about.......
the main two are colston and brown......
something tells me that colston is still not healed and brown could still be hurting as well... brown is facing a very quick freeny and we should know quickly if he's not 100%. the reason for worry here is brees' blind side. you don't want your heart going in your throat sitting there helpless awaiting a bone crushing sack by the colts. as for colston, if few passes go his way he may be used for a decoy if in fact he's still hurting..... it should be interesting to say the least......... |

Re: players to worry about.......
I may be wrong, but I think the Payton looks for any excuse to rest certain veteran players. Brown's knee was only bruised, and that usually takes a week or 2 to heal. Although Colston is not exactly a proven veteran, I think Payton saw enough to know that he can perform up to his usual level, and chose not to expose him to injury. I don't think either player will be any rustier than the average player in game 1.

Jason David for the Saints and Tony Ugoh for the Colts.
If our bookends can consistently put pressure on Manning, then our chances increase dramtically. Tony Ugoh, a rookie, is starting at tackle for the Colts. We need to consistently blitz them on that side forcing them to keep their tightend in and out of the passing game. Jason David needs to contain Reggie Wayne. If not, it's going to be a very long day for our secondary. |

Why are all of your posts synonymous with "worry" and "...."?

The Colts will be SHUT DOWN. The Saints are playing shut-down football, period. I don't care what the logo on the helmet is. They're people, not superman.
just like Kansas City, the Bengals, and the Dolphins in preseason. : D |

Dallas Clark - he is a speed mismatch for most of our linebackers. Maybe Fujita or one of our safeties can cover him.
Peyton Manning - Gotta be ready for his audibles and no-huddle. Hope we get a few turnovers, but Peyton doesn't throw many picks. |
