this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; we're only one game back in our division. With only two weeks down, CAR, TB, and ATL are all only 1-1. This means that, as far as our division goes, we're only one game back. Someone please tell me that ...

Re: Well, on the plus side...
Right now it is just 2 road losses, including one against the SB Champs.
We are still a playoff calibre team and have a great shot at the division. The obvious down-side is that we have played like absolute crap. Where is Payton the genius? Why isn't Bush getting the ball? Why is Deuce fumbling? Why can't Henderson catch (okay, we knew that one coming in) The guy I am pointing to the most is Brees. No, his play hasn't been great, but where's the leadership? When is he actually going to get pissed, and then do something? |

Re: Well, on the plus side...
So far this year, Brees is definitely lacking. His timing is way off right now. A few of his passed darn near got his guys killed. I think he will bounce back, but right now he is looking pretty bad. I know the offensive line has not been much help either, but right now he doesn't have that magic touch on his passes. The dropped passes do not help either.

Re: Well, on the plus side...
There is another thing on the plus side. I hear that Morten Anderson would like to make another comeback. He should still be accurate from 40 yards and under. Mare is a joke so far. Maybe take a look at Vanderjerk???

His KO's are great, but you have to score to kick-off. So far, yes, a joke on FG's.

Re: Well, on the plus side...
I couldn't see us covering Galloway anyways so I'm definately not surprised we lost. But one think I know for sure, we are going to roll on Tennessee.
I guarantee it. |
