The problem is that if you miss the FG the other team gets great feild position plus the momentum factor. Offenses that kick field goals at least feel like they got something accomplished. When you miss them, however, it starts to change things. You start forcing plays because of the fear of missing a FG. Plays start being called that don't have to be called. It really does change things when your kicker CAN'T KICK! Like I said somewhere else.....we hated him here in Miami.....I dreaded the day we got him.

I agree that kicking is the least of our problems, but apparently sucking is contagious.
BTW, here in ATL I had to suffer through the Falcons on TV, with the Saints on the web. Carney didn't make it to the 5 on any kickoff. Of course, ATL has kicker problems too |
