Bandwagon: THANK YOU!!! See you soon.
For all of those who came here with the fantasy world you lived in... bye. I guess you'll all show back up sometime before the draft and end of the season to pipe in on your nonesense.
Ahhh the hardcore is left now back to our lifestyle that we know OH so well. I have been saying for years now (3). We have to build those damn lines. We have to start from scratch and build a line that no matter who you put in the back fields its not going to matter so much because we can bull-and-power over teams in the trences. Last year I did not like what was happening because I saw the weakness the year before and we did nothing to corrected it and yet we go 10-6 and everything thinks we are a SB contender. I didn't believe it at all! We got lucky and the ball bounced in our favor is all. The weakness was still there and reared its ugly head from time to time but no one wanted to beileve it. I don't care what we have to do but we need to free up money and get draft picks. We need to get Glenn Dorsey! We need to get a new D coach, change the D and coach them up and play more disiplined football. Our D shouldn't give up 30 points a game NEVER. I dont' care if we fumble 10 times a game at the 10 yard line we need a hardcore D and badass OL. |

you are dead on euph and i rarely agree with you. you win and lose in the trenches and if we can dominate the defensive and offensive line, everything else will come.

Our D line, now I knew there was work their, our D tackles cannot occupy blockers, which allows blockers to get to our so so LB's who NONE of them can shed a block, and run the ball down our throat. We show signs, but not there. We either keep pretty good D line and great LB's(Dome Patrol) or great line and OK LB's. With the salary cap you cannot have great players for both. At this point I would like to see some of our RAW players on the field. Alleman on the line, give him a try, put Usama in the game. For god's sake if you draft another damn offensive player that does not play on the line I will pull all of my GD hair out. |

I agree with the whole mantra that the games are won on the lines, but this was one of the best damn offensive lines in the NFL last season. How did they get so bad so fast?

Re: Bandwagon: THANK YOU!!! See you soon.
I've been a fan of the Saints since 73' and went through a lot of bad years, a few of them I had no hope in the team at all, I still believe in this team as bad as it looks right now..
As most of us know, being a Saints fan is hard most of the time but for some reason a lot of us on this board stick with them, gotta love the Black and Gold guys... Remember the Steve Walsh era?, hell I never thought of jumping off of the bandwagon, I did think thought about jumping off of a 20 story building but it was the hope I had in the team that kelp me from jumping. |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

Re: Bandwagon: THANK YOU!!! See you soon.
It was nice to see all the new folks supporting this team, something were not used to. It is like the Superbowl you support a team for whatever your reasons for roughly a two week period after its over your gone. Always remember the word fan is prefix for the word fanatic. I love the earlier script The Saints stepped on a plane for Chicago last season and we have not seen them since. Now it is time to see if Coach Payton is the real deal and whether he can put this team back together. In my opinion I think he has what it takes but time will tell it always does.

The flaws were there they just looked good stat-wise but the flaws were there. Good O-lines will battle and look good no matter what. They will keep you in the toughest of games... that did not happen last year. The tough games they folded like paper. People have had an entire off-season looking at how to beat the Saints and now everyone follows the others in game planning against us. |
