Bandwagon: THANK YOU!!! See you soon.

For all of those who came here with the fantasy world you lived in... bye. I guess you'll all show back up sometime before the draft and end of the season to pipe in on your nonesense.

Ahhh the hardcore is left now back to our lifestyle that we know OH so well.

I have been saying for years now (3). We have to build those damn lines. We have to start from scratch and build a line that no matter who you put in the back fields its not going to matter so much because we can bull-and-power over teams in the trences.

Last year I did not like what was happening because I saw the weakness the year before and we did nothing to corrected it and yet we go 10-6 and everything thinks we are a SB contender. I didn't believe it at all! We got lucky and the ball bounced in our favor is all. The weakness was still there and reared its ugly head from time to time but no one wanted to beileve it.

I don't care what we have to do but we need to free up money and get draft picks. We need to get Glenn Dorsey! We need to get a new D coach, change the D and coach them up and play more disiplined football. Our D shouldn't give up 30 points a game NEVER. I dont' care if we fumble 10 times a game at the 10 yard line we need a hardcore D and badass OL.

you are dead on euph and i rarely agree with you. you win and lose in the trenches and if we can dominate the defensive and offensive line, everything else will come.

===========

The game is won and lost in the lines, no doubt about it. Anyone that doubts it isn't paying attention. Tom Brady/Peyton Manning could not have won last night the way our O line played. However, I was not as down on our O-line as you were. Were they greta I knew better, but this damn bad? I did not think it could be possible, guess I was wrong.

Our D line, now I knew there was work their, our D tackles cannot occupy blockers, which allows blockers to get to our so so LB's who NONE of them can shed a block, and run the ball down our throat. We show signs, but not there. We either keep pretty good D line and great LB's(Dome Patrol) or great line and OK LB's. With the salary cap you cannot have great players for both.

At this point I would like to see some of our RAW players on the field. Alleman on the line, give him a try, put Usama in the game. For god's sake if you draft another damn offensive player that does not play on the line I will pull all of my GD hair out.

I agree with the whole mantra that the games are won on the lines, but this was one of the best damn offensive lines in the NFL last season. How did they get so bad so fast?

No I can argue the point they were not that good they got by and Brees and company made them look better than they were at times. Match that line against decent defenses last year they were not nor looked good at all. 10-6 is good but not that good and a fluke year, over-acheieved at best. The flaws were there they just looked good stat-wise but the flaws were there. Good O-lines will battle and look good no matter what. They will keep you in the toughest of games... that did not happen last year. The tough games they folded like paper.

People have had an entire off-season looking at how to beat the Saints and now everyone follows the others in game planning against us.

Actually you're completely wrong. The O-line was one of the best last year. Just because Brees got sacked a couple times by a good DE or LB doesn't mean they were terrible. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, but you gotta promise not to tell anyone...(Peyton Manning and Tom Brady get sacked sometimes too). To say that they didn't look good last year is ignorant. To say that Brees and everyone else made the O-line look good is ignorant. To say that a 10-6 year was a fluke year is ignorant. We were the second best team in the NFC last year because we earned it. Get a clue before you start comoing on here with all this crap.

IGNORANT??? why don't you prove to me they are good??? PROVE IT I dare you... oh wait 0-3 I win, you lose. have a sandwich.

What is ignorant is people like who live in a fantasy land all the time and fail to see the same problem I have been preaching for years. Manning - Brady, whomever they have lines that win... I could careless they get sacked from time to time but year in and year out where the hell are they??? IN THE PLAYOFFS. Get a clue.

Before you say anything else stupid and ignorant why don't you learn the game of football and then come talk to me.

Re: Bandwagon: THANK YOU!!! See you soon.

Everybody is so touchy...Relax. Ok...the O-line and D-Line suck....OK!

It's funny (sad) to me when fans accuse another fan of being a bandwagoner. It don't matter to me when someone started being a saints fans (the more the merrier). We all have suffered through the pain of being a fan...so to the new guys....Welcome to our misery!!

It makes me (or nobody else) better just because I've been rooting for my home team longer than someone else.

We lose 3 games to start the season and we start calling each other ignorant, and claiming that we are better fans than someone else...thats childish...to me. These are the kinds of things that "Loosers" do. We are not loosers...our club is just playing bad football right now. We still have a chance at the division.

So if it makes you feel better to call folks bandwagoners (which I guess makes you a better fan) ENJOY!

In my opinion it just brings a negative, non-inclusive, argumentative energy to blackandgold.

But like I say...whatever makes you feel better.

The best conerback tandem in the league reside in the N.O.

Well if you would be so generous as to go back and read what I wrote, I said that LAST YEAR they were one of the best in the league. It was a response to your comment that last year the O-line was terrible. If you want proof, get it yourself. Go back and watch the games from last year. You're just proving my point that you don't have a clue by responding to comments I didn't make. I do agree (and never disagreed) that they are playing terribly this year.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I do stand by what I said about them being ignorant statements.
And by the way, thanks for the suggestion...the sandwich was delicious.
