I tried, but............
Lewpac here.
I really tried to come around here and offer hope. I like you guys, and being a Cowboy fan I felt I owed you guys for getting rid of the Eagles last year (thank you for that). Look over all my threads and you'll see that I was probably more optimistic then even the most fanatic Saints fan. But even I gotta' say, after today, that I'm afraid it's a TALL ORDER from here on out. It appears that, against my better judgment, that last year is looking more like a "last place schedule" gimme' than a "reason to believe". You gotta' win a divisional game like this, AT HOME!!! This was IT!!! This was the "turning point" of the season IMHO. I'm afraid that it appears that all the talk about the play up and down the line of scrimmage is true. It sucks. It also appears that this team has given up mentally. How else can you explain a loss like this, at this critical juncture and time in Saints history? I won't, however, bad mouth Reggie Bush, your QB or Head Coach. I think the play calling was "alright". You guys just can't block, tackle or stop anyone when you need to. Anyway....................good luck in the future. It may be time to start playing for a draft pick at this point. I don't know. But this is about as bad as it gets, losing at home to the Panthers........................ |

You're right papz. Until it is 0-7 and even 0-8 we can't let up. WE MUST WORK HARDER!! We are 0-4. Can it be worse than that? YES! The Dolphins and Rams are 0-5, and neither of them have as talented a team.

Time for all the players to get on the field. There maybe a spark there. It will only make us a better and deeper team next year. While the division crow is almost out of reach, we could get a wild card at 10-6 or 9-7. So it is not time to throw in the towel. Lets finish the season strong at least.

Re: I tried, but............
well....lets see Reggie Bush Drew Brees Marques Colston MM Will Smith Charles Grant Roman Harper Jon Karney Jeff Faine KK Fujita (kind of) All of these are talented players who have had success in this league. Don't start being silly, and acting like these guys aren't talented. We beat some real good teams last year. We played smart and fast with pretty much this same roster. I'm a game studier...and when you review the film...the last two games were just a play or two away from wins (even though we played bad). But most teams in this league are beatable. And we are just as talented as they are. We are simply playing bad football. So please with the "we are not talented" accusations!! WOW! the sky is falling....watch out. |
The best conerback tandem in the league reside in the N.O.
