You may want to see Thomas gone, don't blame you, but don't let emotion blind you. Had David been covering Smith, the score would have not been close at all. I rather see Thomas out there than see David.

Tobias is right he played way better than Jason David. In the first half Steve Smith had 1 catch for 10 yards.

Great post Tobias. Steve Smith made one play all day long last Sunday. The rest of the day he was quiet. That's just plain impressive considering he can easily go for about 200 and a couple of touchdowns. Our secondary played well as a whole. In fact, when I look at the loss against the Panthers, the secondary might be one of the last groups I would blame. I mean the kicking game, running game, Devery Henderson, and Olindo Mare (again because he was that bad) were the reasons for the loss, not Fred Thomas. Listen, I know he's not the best player, and of course I'd rather see somebody (like Usama) out there, but Fred Thomas is so much better than Jason David. He's a smart guy who would be best used as a nickel or dime back. He can't be put on an island anymore, but he still is better than other people on this crap team.

Deuce ,there's a lot of truth to what you're saying. As far as David is concerned, he's just been terrible. I'd just rather see Usama in there if we're going to continue to lose. Give the kid some experience. As I said, I like Freddie, I just think he might have lost a little to much. You're also right about if they give him some help out there he might be ok.
