We have a lot of excitement back here in the B&G Forum, and for good reason. That game last night showcased our true talent, and what we could have been doing all year. With that said there are a few miscues that will need to be fixed before we start talking..............................................................Wait For IT.............................................................................................................................................................Still Waiting................................................................................................................................................PLAYOFF!?!?!?!?!?! You wanna talk about PLAYOFFS?..................Yeah before we speak the 'P' word. The biggest thing is STILL turnovers! Patten fumbles (Luckily Johnson hussled downfield with an unsuspecting Seahawk who didn't cover the ball,) then later in the game, on a long drive, IN THE REDZONE, Bush Fumbles. COME ON GUYS HOLD ON TO THE >>>> BALL! Another problem we have is PAYTON DOESN'T WANT TO FINISH GAMES! We should have made Seatlle pay for even showing up! 52-10 70-17 100-0 KILL THEIR SPIRITS! Let the NFL know that the SAINTS are BACK! No more run, run, RUN, punt. Deuce is out, so it won't work. Let's not get to excited, let's be happy, and let's see if the team can fix these before the game with Atlanta. No team in this league is a pushover and on "Any Given Sunday" any team can win. LET'S GET SOME WINS!

Re: 1-4
I don't think we should be talking about playoffs right now. One win is just what it is....one win. I'm just waiting for next week as should all of us.
Deuce not being in the backfield was not the problem with the run IMO. That's a problem with the front line. (But we won't go into that). I have said it all day on here. THIS team, THIS TEAM, played their best game last night. Many, many improvements. |

Re: 1-4
Your right
After last night, I am not confident in our team if we have an 18 pt. lead in the second half. Circumstances... |

Hey we put together a great first half. The defense is attacking. Thats a good sign. But keep it in perspective gang. We stopped ourselves in the second half as did the banged up seahawks. There is a lot of work to be done still but a win is a win. I will take it.

Re: 1-4
I think the biggest surprise for me is how well the defense is playing, they stepped it up and last night the O-Line played extremely well, they will only get better.

Re: 1-4
That is the kind of play that we all thought was going to happen.
