Re: Freddie Tomas
Corners were at the top of my list in last years draft - still at the top of my list. I looked for an infusion of size and speed. I have seen neither. It seems that most every team has a big receiver, some teams have two. Even when we can cover some of these guys, we still can't stop ANY of them, short of holding (automatic 1st from the spot). We are too small, too slow, and too alone playing man. Let's make this hole a priority fill. Someone tell Payton to tell Mueller to tell Benson to keep the gate closed while we are mending the holes in the fence.

Re: Freddie Tomas
We need 1 good CB, but I really think we need two good LB's more. Simoneau could not have been meant for more than a one year addition and how he's made two is beyond me. Shanle plays tough, but has been quiet.
Oh, to have that first round pick back. |

Re: Freddie Tomas
I know man, what's up with all this Simoneau business....I think his stat sheet "team high" tackles is all fluff. They're mostly assists and tackles after the player has made like 5-6 yards up the gut.
Harper on the other hand is beginning to lay some licks over the middle of the field *giggle*. I like that. you remember during the glory days it was only a brave soul who dared to catch something in the middle of the field! |

Re: Freddie Tomas
Thomas was horrible but I think Sean had to give Young some rest because I think he was wore down some so he put in Thomas who was fresh but I'd figure out something to keep Thomas off of the field..
He really looked bad yesterday to no one's surprise. |

Re: Freddie Tomas
Does anyone know when DeAngelo Hall contract is up. Hes a good shut down corner in the league. Give Fred Thomas a job up front. His time is up.

Re: Freddie Tomas
22 in lights up every QB's eyes. I still can't believe they put him in on blitz plays where he has to cover one on one.
