Wow. Are these some of the same fans that were tanking the 0-4 season three weeks ago?

A few of us would just be happy to hit .500. At 8-8, considering how this season started, it would be a monumental accomplishment.

Now, speaking on the possibility...scratch that... fantasy of 11-5, I can't really hold out much hope of a 8-1 run, even if we had to play the Jets every week! Still 9-7 is a manageable goal. If we can somehow get some outside help and sweep the remainder of our division schedule, we just might pull off another playoff appearance.

My two cents...

A wise man once said, "Poo-poo smells just as bad as s#!%. One just SOUNDS cuter!"

Re: 7 of the next 10 games

IMO, with the schedule ahead of us and the QB problems those teams have, the saints have the potential to finish 10-6, maybe 11-5. but they also have the potential to finish 7-9! What they can't do (and us as fans as well) is believe we are better than other teams and expect to win the game. If we are better than the 10 teams we have to play, then we line up on the field and beat them! And, unfortunately, thinking about how banged up the other team is or how much better talent we have is not going to help the team get in that mindset.

Realistically I'd say 8-8. Hopefully 9-7. Optimistically 10-6.

Pessimistically 2-14.

I think 9-7 will be enough to possibly win this division and if not, a wildcard spot.

Re: 7 of the next 10 games

its really hard for me to make a prediction for the rest of the season....if we beat San Fran, i see 10-6, if we drop it, we lose swagger and hit 8-8....late season surge to hit .500, save Sean's job, and give us a half-ass draft pick....that we use on a WR from Tenn...lol, sorry, i couldnt help it.....

Re: 7 of the next 10 games

I see four more loses a real possiblity, Jax, Bears, Eagles, TB. That's 8-8 guys. Yes, they could beat one of these, but they could lose oneof the give-me's as well. If the swagger comes back when we finally reach .500, then the TB game is the key, as that will mean the division at 9-7. I don't see TB or Carolina winning 10.
