this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Copper The offense did well when they threw the ball to him. He wasn't a game breaker but seamed to get open and catch the ball. Maybe he should be a little more involved....

Re: T cooper
I'd like to see Meachem at least in there trying to do something as well.

Re: T cooper
He's been pretty non existent this year... well so have the rest of our offense. Besides a couple of mental lapses last year, I liked what I saw from him. I'm sure once we get things rolling again, we'll see more of him.

Re: T cooper
If you would have asked me last season I was disappointed in him
But I was saying this back in the preseason I thought he came out and mad a huge improvement and was catching the ball instead of dropping it Maybe we will see good things from him in the years to come if I remember correctly when I made that post papz you agreed with me |

Re: T cooper
i agree at one point with yall, but on the other side of the coin it wasn't really dropped passes he had trouble with. it was holding on to it after the catch, a physical team would just smack him and the ball would squirt out fairly easily. dropping a pass is far better in my opinion than a fumbling problem.

Re: T cooper
I think the lack of Copper is reflective on the overall WR group. There is no way a guy like Lance Moore should be a starter, but he is probably the best WR on the Saints team right now, and is deservingly a starter. Copper, Henderson, Meachem, and to a degree Colston have all been major disappointments. Moore a very pleasant surprise, and Patten have done their jobs pretty much consistently. I think Colston has turned it around, so that is 3 out of 6. Not a very good overall group right now. Hopefully they will all turn it around so the Saints can get to the point of scoring 30 plus points in most games.
