So finally I got to attend my first Saints game. Me and my friend had tickets up in the nosebleeds but still it was an awesome experience. The crowd was loud, the beer was cool, the Saints won. Hearing everybody sing on the way out of the stadium....

Re: Thanks to all fans!
$30 for beer? in the dome that means you bought 4 beers.
I remember last season I was in NYC the weekend the Saints played the Giants. I was with a crew of 5 (musicians) from Nashville that had never been to an NFL game before. I begged them to go in with me and buy tickets to the game. I told them how much fun they would have and how they needed to experience an NFL game, bla bla bla.. of course I was describing based on my experience from the dome in New Orleans. So long story short, we got tickets went to the game and it was great to experience the MeadowLands especially since the Saints kicked booty, but it was NOTHING like the Dome, I mean NOTHING. The place was nearly sold-out but I've seen more excitement at a HS tennis match. The fans were rude and they don't know how to have fun. There's just nothing like the Dome. |

Re: Thanks to all fans!
Ok, I gotta share my story. Last year I was lucky enough to score a ticket to the Saints/ Eagles playoff game. We won't go into how much it was but it was on the 50 yard line 9 rows from the field. Anyway, I got to New Orleans and had a 102 degree fever. I went anyway. My girlfriend thought I was nuts. Man, what a game. No one sat the whole game. It was as loud as I have ever heard the dome. That is a game I will never forget. I feel privileged to have been there. Wow, what a game.....

Don't tell me beers went up at the dome....Thought they were 6 bucks? That would be 5 beers. I spend nearly 100 bucks a game on alcohol, that's my wife included though. Also, I miss the chicken tender baskets. I am getting hungry now....Dammit

Re: Thanks to all fans!
