Seemed to play very solid at LT when he came in for Brown... I may be wrong, because I haven't seen all the plays, but it seems like the big guy is capable of playing at a pretty high level. Obviously he's not an All-Pro, but I think we'll be fine if Jammal has to miss a few games... And to those concerned about Jeff Faine, I'm sure it had something to do with rust. A guy doesn't forget how to play from one year to the next. He was a stud last season, and I'm sure he'll be fine next week and beyond. |

Re: Zach Strief
Ever since the Tampa Bay game last year when he held Simeon Rice sack-less he has held his own. I like him, he's very physical at the point of attack and quick enough to handle those speed rushers, he just needs a little experience, but he's still a pretty good one.

Re: Zach Strief
Actually that side was noticeable bad on pass rushing. There were at least 2 man on man bull rushes and right though our O-lineman at Bree's.
Even though Brees were able to get rid of the ball at times he was hit immediately and treated like a rag doll. That seriously will take an effect on you. |
