" I think I can, I think I can, I think I can"

The little engine that couldn't.

I'm hoping he turns it around in the second half of the season, it seems it will be the most important but right now it doesn't look good for the Saints with Jason out there.

yea no kidding...i hope he CAN do something, but he certainly hasn't shown any signs of being able to do deep coverage.

Re: David trying to make it right

Well that didn't take long!

David beat for 73 yds and a TD on one play!

We will not win another game with this type of coverage!

coaches PLEASE realise this and DO SOMETHING!!!

I know this is crazy, but that play wasn't David's fault. He was supposed to have help from Bullocks in the deep middle third of the field, and Bullocks bit on the play action and was completely out of position.

"Can Payton learn what when in doubt, keep it simple? "

The obvious answer is NO!

You guys can blame the safety's. That's fine and to some degree you're right. But lets' face it, Jason David is a cornerback, he has responsibilities, he ain't doing them. His job is to cover. Is he doing it? NO! This guy is terrible. He's had more than enough time to get it right. Put in Aunt Fessy's cat, it would do as good. He just terrible. No more excuses. Sit him down till he gets it right. Anybody'd better than him.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt!!!!!

Umm... both bit. Not just David, not just Bullocks. Which means, both were to blame on that play.

I am not going to defend David this week but what I did notice is that it was David they were picking on.
A little late there... I think most of us noticed since the Indy game (week 1).

Re: David trying to make it right

He plays with great intensity man... and he can tackle. We got to keep him in there.

ROFL!
