What happened to the 2nd safety??? either safety??? I kept playing it over and over hoping to see who was the other safety back there and what happened to them. Notta! All that I saw was a post pattern deep middle and NOBODY close. WHERE WERE THE SAFETIES??? Sure, it looked like David again, but it doesn't look like David on the re-re-re-replay.
You are totally right. The Saftey Bullocks took off on the run to the line. No help for David at all. I am not going to defend David this week but what I did notice is that it was David they were picking on. They were picking on the Safties! Whatever side Bullocks was on they were going that way. Even if MM was on the WR and Bullocks had his back they were going Bullocks way no matter what.

David was playing way to loose early in the game but later after MM got in his ass he got it together.

This is what I mean look at the big picture and see if there is something else others or keying on. Harper and Bullocks, what have they done???

You totally have to fault our Coaches for putting in this so called Defense and not playing disiplined football. If Payton wants to be a Head Coach in the NFL he'd better clean house soon.

I know this is crazy, but that play wasn't David's fault. He was supposed to have help from Bullocks in the deep middle third of the field, and Bullocks bit on the play action and was completely out of position.

coaches PLEASE realise this and DO SOMETHING!!!

"Can Payton learn what when in doubt, keep it simple? "

The obvious answer is NO!

You guys can blame the safety's. That's fine and to some degree you're right. But lets' face it, Jason David is a cornerback, he has responsibilities, he ain't doing them. His job is to cover. Is he doing it? NO! This guy is terrible. He's had more than enough time to get it right. Put in Aunt Fessy's cat, it would do as good. He just terrible. No more excuses. Sit him down till he gets it right. Anybody'd better than him.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt!!!!!

Umm... both bit. Not just David, not just Bullocks. Which means, both were to blame on that play.

A little late there... I think most of us noticed since the Indy game (week 1).

Re: David trying to make it right (Jason David you rock!)

Which play? You have to be more specific. MM was covering someone and they got a first down as well. David also broken up a couple of good plays as well. The game isn't based on just a couple of plays but a lot of plays.

I can't defend David this week but there were lots of whole in our secondary and from what I can tell it was the Safteys that were actually getting picked on because they seem to be out of place on lots of plays.

Who does Manning pick on SAFTEY'S! You get one to bite and you go the other side. There was so many things wrong with our team that single anyone out isn't fair, you can point the finger at everyone this week. We were out played. Mare had a great kick but Houston's Kicker had a better one. It was that kind of game where everyone of Houston's players showed they were better than our guys.

Our Saints were beat by a better 'football team' PERIOD.

The People who are defending Jason David are just BORED.

There is no defending that man. No...It's not all his fault. But the bottom line is he has been BAD since WEEK 1.

He Plays hard...Yeah. But he gets beat waaay too much....and her rarely makes a play.

St Louis Rams totally exposed him. I deleted that game from my DVR because it was so disgusting!!!!
