With NFL contracts, it's easy to cut bait on free agents if they do not pan out. A cap hit, yes, but a major cap hit, no. I honestly think Jason David is a very good player, but not in the type of defense the Saints use. This is simply a bad match. Shame on the Saints for not doing their homework with this guy.

Come on, he's the best we have. Seeing how we eliminated he's such a great tackler this game, he still plays with great intensity!

In my opinion, Payton/Loomis are just as much to blame as the Midget. Payton seems to have too big of an ego to admit they made a mistake on David, and it's costing us games. I'm glad he still has confidence in the Midget, but the problem is, the opposition has the same confidence in him. They are confident knowing that any 3rd and long, they can convert by throwing left.
