- We looked awful in the first half, but luckily came out firing on all cylinders in the second half.
- Brees played well after his first interception, and Colston was amazing.
- Reggie was a non-factor today, but we didn't really need him.
- Defense played well, even if Carolina is terrible. Forced a lot of turnovers. Once again, really the only down part of the defense was Jason David and Bullocks not being able to cover, especially early on. DLine got better pressure. I'm still confused about why our blitzes are so ineffective, it seems like the linebackers run directly into offensive linemen when they rush.
- Mare made a 46-yarder, which was impressive, but then followed it up by kicking perhaps the ugliest looking field goal I've ever seen at the end of the second half.

A win is a win. The way all the fair weather fans here were carring on last week we should have lost this one.
So I stand up and LOL in their faces.

The first drive of the 2nd half was the tone settter for the rest of the game. Secondary got a chance to catch the ball and Drew found his rhythm. PT got 12 carries and we coasted. Sweet. Bring on 'da bucs!

I missed the game but the stats show good balance and good distribution of the ball. 36 pass attampts to 35 real rushes. Those are the kind of numbers that keep us from getting predictable...different from the last few of weeks. About three yards per carry won't make anybody shout but it opens up a lot of other things and keeps people from cheating on us. It also keeps our people 's mind in the game, and keeps them fresh. Good job Sean Payton for using your people. Great win!...a great divisional win. Step one done! Five more steps to go. One step at a time. One week at a time. One game at a time until we are 10 and 6.

Your more than welcome. A true fan is not measured by the time he has been in love with the saints but by how much he loves them.
