Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Copper might could do it but I'm losing faith in Stecker as a return man.
P.S. In fact, the more I think about it the more I think Copper might just be the guy. He has the moves and the speed to get it done. Maybe they'll give him a shot. |

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
I would have to put Lance Moore or Deverey Hendersen. Surely Deverey can catch a ball going end over end.

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Screw all of that. The Saints are fighting for the season, just let Reggie Bush return kicks and punts. He is still the most explosive player on the team, and most of all he wants to do it all. Why are the Saints not letting him return, risk of injury? Well, at 5-6 it's time to let Reggie do his thing. If he gets hurt, then oh well.

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Reggie Bush needs to use his cutback lanes and stop pausing so much.
The practice squad should invent a drill where if you run out of bounds you get electrocuted. It should begin to correct Reggie's little nfl (bed wetting) problem. |

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Tell you what, if we loose this game or the next Mech will see the field. The season is over.
As far as kick offs go, put everyone back there. Put Bush deep and flank him with Stecker and Moore. We need this game. Let Tampa choice which one to kick to. If your thin at RB and bring someone up from the PS who do you hang out there on the wavier wire? (That was a good question.) Looks to me we will do it with 2 RB and 1 FB. Besides no one has racked up yardage on the ground against Tampa. If we are to beat them then it will be a 65-35 mix. Pass to run. Misdirection and quick hit trap plays seem to best against them and there is no one on the PS that fits that bill. So bit the bullet and go with you got. I would like to see an OL in the back field with Mike on short yardage in this game. Hey that might get Andy on the field. |
