if pierre thomas can't go
if pierre thomas can't go does that mean that Robert Meachem may get activated to return kicks and possible play a little
right now i prefer thomas but i'm thinking with this what if from a coaches stand point to have another weapon i know we have jamaal Branch but he's on the practice squad which means we'd i have to drop some one down to practice squad and pull him up to activate him which could be another scenerio where we put pierre down to practice squad until he heals and pull up jamaal branch to active until pierre heals which do yall think will happen or want to happen? |

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
I think if this is a one week thing, then Meachem will probably get activated. If longer than one week, look for Branch to get activated and possibly Jay Bellamy getting put on waivers. I don't think PT would make it back to the practice squad, someone would likely grab him off the waiver wire.

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
I agree that PT would never make it to the ps. Someone would snap him up. Meach might be an answer to returns if he's healthy. I havem't heard anything on him in a while except to see him warming up before the Panther game. Maybe?

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Better get used to it, Stecker. Like him or not, he's your man, now if PT can't go. Heard him on the radio today and he sounds fine, just scared as hell when he urinated blood this week.
Stecker has been returning kicks, knows the offense, can pick up blitzes, etc. and he has been running hard. |

Re: if pierre thomas can't go
Let's not forget that Stecker was a return man in Tampa for a bit. Held the record there a while too, didn't he? Longest runback? Almost scored? Though I think Tampa has still never made it to the end zone on a kickoff return.
