this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I've had a two part signature for most of the season. The second part finally came true. You had the lead. You had the ball. They had limited timeouts. Just keep it simple. Sigh. Will he ever learn? SFIAH...

It's the second time it cost us a game. Remember the first Carolina game this year?

What do you mean finally? It's been costing us games all year long.

It HAS cost us ALL YEAR.
His playcalling is to blame for our inconsistency because it was so predictable. Aside from the first drive, it was actually pretty good for the majority of the game... UNTIL... Geez... When will we stop trying to be cute and just play football? |

Embarrassing yes. But we shouldn't have been in that predicament to begin with. The Bucs don't have the talent we have on offense. However, they shredded our defense as if we had Holy Cross or Jesuit out there instead of a pro team. Our defense, albeit they gave us 8 points (for a change) is virtually non-existent. We couldn't stop a pet rock consistently.
We should have never been in those shoes. |

Re: Payton's playcalling finally costs us a game.
The defense wasn't consistently good today, no.
But THIS loss is on Reggie Bush and Sean Payton. There is no discussion, it's not even debatable - it's a fact. Of course, Sean's way too smitten in love with Offense to ever hold them accountable for it - instead watch for him to maintain that the defense didn't do enough to stop the Bucs on 3rd downs, etc. etc. etc. Same ol' same ol'. Merry Christmas Bucs - go win the superbowl. |
