It\'s interesting to note how close to the cap the Falcons are right now. I realize they swept us last year, but I see them as a team that could still use quite a few improvements across the board. My opinion is that they\'ve overpaid for a couple of guys. This strategy will bite them in the tail in a couple of years (or sooner with an injury here or there). I would much rather have the depth that we\'ve finally achieved than the players they\'ve brought in during the last two offseasons.
Take their secondary, for instance. Didn\'t they overpay for Corey Hall? Running back: Warrick Dunn (although he did run on us for 142 and 90 yards) Wide receiver: Peerless Price (I could be wrong, but he had one big year... so did Qadry Ismail) I\'d much rather be us right now... with or without Vick (with Vick, of course, would be nice) [Edited on 3/8/2003 by whowatches] |

Looks like Loomis has been doing a pretty decent job. No complaints.

Philly is really sitting pretty, didn\'t realize they had that much room to play. They could do it this year, they\'ve got me a little nervous.

I have a feeling he\'s gonna be good, but he\'ll b e a bust when compared to his salary. The thing I\'m most worried about is Owens is rumored to want to play in Atlanta next year, and is already negotiating to make it happen. But then again I saw him alligator arm about 6 passes against us last year. If he thought Sammy could hurt him, wait till he feels Mitchells helmet explode into his chest at mach 5! I don\'t think that Nancy-boy wants to play TB, ATL, and NO 6 times per year. |
Whether we agree or disagree; its all for Him.

Atlanta negotiating with T. Owens definitely spells the end for Reeves. I don\'t see any way that those two could work together.
Dale might have to start drinking again if he knew he\'d have to face Owens twice a year. I probably just jinxed us even joking about that. |

atlanta has no where near the money it would take to sign TO
besides Sf wouldn\'t let him go, the franchise tag can be a nasty thing |

Owens future in SF depends on two things this year:
How successful Dennis Erickson is as a coach. The front office will not sit idle if they have a bad season. If they are a playoff team again then... how does Erickson and Owens get along? |

I also cant see Owens is Atlanta, their cap situation is pretty bad. He could wind up in Philly, they have plenty of cap room and desperately need a good reciever. Besides who wouldn\'t want to play with McNabb.
