I see a few names on this list, but its going to cost an arm and a leg to land them here. Trufant name sticks out the most to me on this list, and if the seahawks havent already resigned him, then he see the tag this upcoming year for sure if they dont work out a deal.

Wouldn't mind bringing back Clark. Good situational goal line linebacker and an asset on special teams. Good depth player. Would LOVE to have Dansby... but he's either going to be re-signed or slapped with the franchise tag. Boley as I said in the ILB thread, would make me a happy man.

Re: A Look At Free Agents: Cornerback!

Nnamdi Asomugha will be a Raider next season... they won't let him go. He's a building block on in that secondary.

Trufant and Florence are my top two targets. I wanted Will James last year but he re-upped with Philly. Now that he's back on the market, I'd still love to have him. He's not a number one, but would make an great option at nickel... maybe even push for some 2 time.

A Look At Free Agents: Running Back!

Barber, Marion RFA Cowboys
Bell, Tatum UFA Lions
Bennett, Michael UFA Chiefs
Brown, Chris UFA Titans
Cartwright, Rock UFA Redskins
Cason, Aveion UFA Lions
Chatman, Jessie UFA Dolphins
Dayne, Ron UFA Texans
Duckett, T.J. UFA Lions
Echemandu, Joe UFA Texans
Fargas, Justin UFA Raiders
Farmer, Derek RFA Chargers
Gado, Sam RFA Texans
Herron, Noah RFA Packers
Hicks, Maurice UFA 49ers
Jones, Greg UFA Jaguars
Jones, Julius UFA Cowboys
Joseph, Keith RFA Saints
Lewis, Jamal UFA Browns
Mahe, Reno UFA Eagles
Minor, Travis UFA Rams
Moore, Mewelde UFA Vikings
Morency, Vernand RFA Packers
Pearman, Alvin RFA Seahawks
Pinner, Artose UFA Falcons
Pittman, Michael UFA Buccaneers
Smith, Musa UFA Ravens
Stecker, Aaron UFA Saints
Thompson, Tyson RFA Cowboys
Toefield, LaBrandon UFA Jaguars
Turner, Michael UFA Chargers
Ward, Derrick UFA Giants

I know...the saints dont need a running back....but if we dont bring back 26 this year, then why not look at bring in Michael Turner from the Chargers.......this man is a beast, and if he wasnt playing behind the best RB in the NFL, then I assure you that this man would be a house hold name.

Julius Jones, would be a nice addition, people in dallas see the man as bust, but trust me....Barber will miss him next year.

You say that were nuts for pulling for them, you call them sorry, you wonder why we deal with them year after year. Well New Orleans is like no other city in the world, and no fans are anything like saint fans.

I have had enough with the cover two CB experiments. Until we run the cover two as our base defense I do not want to see any of that type corner wearing a Saints uniform.

Raiders | Kiffin said franchising Asomugha is no guarantee
Tue, 1 Jan 2008 13:42:14 -0800

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin said placing the franchise tag on impending free-agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha is not a no-brainer for the team.

So there is hope and I would not Florence either. trufant will stay. James I am not sold on
