pessimism out of my system! WHO DAT!
I probably can be considered an extreme fan sometimes. I don't know how I ended up this way but I just love football and the Saints. I've got just about every jersey you can get hanging in my closet and I drive around town with 4 footballs in my truck.
For my emotional pessimism I put out here on black and gold I want to apologize for the fool I may have appeared to be. Also as the fool I appear to be now. I wrote a blog letter to coach Payton and I finally feel alot better. It only took me a week! Sean had some fundamental common sense mistakes that any overloaded young coach would probably make. I'm just a serious fan letting my emotions override my own common sense. I'm just as guilty on my own level as Sean is on his. It's tough being on the couch and knowing some things are going wrong when you expect the pros to be on their game. I should know better because in my profession so many other "pros" let you down time and time again. I'm getting better at dealing with that to. I'm still young. Sean is good people. He's got a chance to make adjustments here in "08". I'll support him wholeheartedly. I hope he doesn't let his genius override his common sense and we find ourselves back at the NFC Championship. I don't have the answers. All I have is FAITH. My best to all of you. WHO DAT! |

Re: pessimism out of my system! WHO DAT!
I love the pessimism. It gets the debate going. We joke sometimes that our opinions don't matter, but that's BS. Granted, Hagan's draft analyses* probably don't end up in Loomis's office, but we are the fans here. We're the ones buying the tickets and the jerseys. Just look at the Sklar Green signing. People are excited about a guy just because he went to LSU. I'm sure the FO realizes that.
*They should, though. If this is your first offseason on B&G, you're in for a treat. Hagan makes Mel Kyper look uninformed. |
