Could this work?
What if we were to bring in Pac Man Jones?...Hear me out, i know he has had his fair share of personal off-field problems, and New Orleans is a "party city"...but hasnt this kid learned his lesson. He has great talent, and ON THE FIELD he is a huge play maker!
Financially he will not be too expensive, and he would be a major upgrade to our swiss cheese D Thoughts? |

Re: Could this work?
NO NO NO NO NO! He repeatedly caused trouble at WVU and didnt learn his lesson. He did the same with the titans, didnt learn his lesson. What would make you think hes finally grown up?? The kid is nothing but trouble and a worthless teammate. Players stick together when one of their gets into trouble and how many stood up for pac man?? NONE, he cares about nothing but himself.

Thanks for the welcome...
and maybe your right...i gues im one to believe that people can turn it around and give them more credit then they deserve....but we do need help at corner, and i hear now that Trufant and the guy from Oakland are both likely to get tagged, so what do we do? |

Tough call on this one. Pac-Man is a great talent. I think the year off may be a wake up call, then again, he could have been reinstated this season and was not. That should tell you something right there. I also believe that the guy deserves another chance, just not sure the Saints should roll the dice on this guy.

Re: Could this work?
We'd have to put him through an intensive and extensive evaluation to consider signing him. He has worlds of talent and he definately could help this team in a very big way. If he passed all our test and we felt he is a changed man, I would consider signing him to a one year deal with escalator clauses based on playing time and production.
And welcome to the board... |

Re: Could this work?
I don't know what kind of testing a team could put him through, but it's almost a given that if released by the Titans, most teams would have him on a deal loaded with incentives and escalator clauses. No team in their right mind is going to hand this guy a 5 year 40 million dollar contract with 20 mill guaranteed at this point. Maybe if Randy Mueller was still the GM I would say he gets a huge contract from the Saints... LOL (Remember Dale Carter?)

Re: Could this work?
LOL I read the first part of that and immediately thought of Dale Carter... but you ended your post with his name. I can see him getting getting a one year guaranteed deal somewhere... the Bengals have a thing for fugitives and they desparately need help.
