Re: Why is LSU
We're 7-9 at home with Payton. I'm taking a wait and see approach and let another year play out before I draw any conclusions on that. We were competitive at home and outside a few dumb plays here and there, were a playoff calliber team. That's with a very very injury decimated team.
I've never liked the idea of playing on turf. 8 games a year at home and then at least 3 on the road (usually 4 or 5) played on turf, and seems like every year we're blowing knees and ankles out all over the field. I like the dome, (so does the NFL and NCAA). I just wish we could find a better surface to play on that would give us a chance to have a healthy team come week 14. I don't think the home record is really reflective of Payton. I think its more reflective of the team we had this year. We were better than .500 at home last year. |

Re: Why is LSU
its because the refs are easily bought in new orleans.......thats why the saints are not good at home..

Re: Why is LSU
Defending the home field will be a lot easier when they can defend the opposing offense.
