Why is LSU
The only team that consistently defends the Superdome turf? What is it about playing at home that brings the worst play out of the Saints? Even with the Payton regime's positive changes, the team has a 7-9 record at home. There's no way that this team is going to go anywhere if it can't defend the Dome to the tune of 6 wins each season, minimum.

Re: Why is LSU
Shouldn't mix college players and nfl players. NFL players are on the job and college players are playing for pride, team, accolades and a future. Two very different mindsets.

Re: Why is LSU
I remember Haz thinking the same thing, the Saints wore white at home during most of 2000. The Saints home woes has been an issue for a long time now. I don't get it either. I say blow the top off the dome and let the Saints play outdoors. Opposing teams would not know what to do in 90 degree heat with 60 percent humidity. Now that would be a true home field advantage.

Playing football outside in Louisiana is no joke....look at the record for the Jags for home games during the start of the season when its muggy down there. |

When home field advantage is had for two years straight then you know we are making the step from a good team to an elite team. It takes more than one step though.
Plus bikini tops in the stands to tan? I am all for it. Thats why I like the cheap seats in baseball. It is a party. |

Re: Why is LSU
Hell just get the LSU players to dress in Saints uniforms and play them as the Saints team and see if that would help.
