Re: Saints reflect on their fall from grace

... it is a good rea; and indeed there is some similarity to Haslett's 1st two years. However, the big difference here is, Payton is pointing the finger at himself and the team, and recognizes the defense has to improve, and not blaming the fans booing or the refs.

After reading that story, I feel pretty hopeful that Sean Payton will get the defense turned around. If not, then look forward to a Haz replay.

A light at the end of the tunnel?!

And hopefully it's attached to the train that will be the new defense next season.

Re: Saints reflect on their fall from grace

"That's something that we'll look at hard in this offseason," Payton said. "I'm talking about getting some more good young players to help on that side of the ball. ... It's an area we want to upgrade and try to address."

That's what I've been waiting to hear him say.

By the way Kat, love the "BAD" on Jason David.

Well the offense is so close to being done that defense is only place left. LOL that was a real reach.

Agreed. The defense needs mucho help as we all know, and special teams could stand some improvement -- but the offense is already good enough to get us to the big one. No argument.
