2nd round the sweet spot?

I think we can get the most value if we go for players in the second round. plenty of talented CBs and LBs will be up for grabs in the early/mid 2nd round, which had me thinking about this trade:

Give up 10th overall pick for a late-ish 1st round pick to get Kentwan Balmer. We also get a 2nd round pick. if we have to, we can trade our first and 4th for their 1st and 2nd.

thoughts? this way we fill a DT need while also allowing us to grab talented LBs/CBs. I'm sure we'll pick up an impact defensive player in the FA too.
