Deuce-----what is he worth?
If Deuce is on our roster March 1st, he'll be paid a 1 million dollar roster bonus.
Maybe, he'll be traded. My question to you very astute fellow fans is: What could we realistically get for Deuce in a trade??? A 3RD round pick? A 2nd round pick? Is Jerry Jones dumb enough to give us a 1st for Deuce? |

Re: Deuce-----what is he worth?
He wont be traded, and if he is it wont be for anything mor than a 5 round pick, and he will have to rework his contract before that happens. He has had two ACL problems now, and has a huge contract......I have a man crush on him, but I think his days as a top dollar RB in the NFL are over!
I hope he he saved that money given to him up front. |

i think if duece can come back healthy, he may be willing to redo his contract and retire a saint.......i think if he can come back healthy, he's still the best rb we have, bar none................smitty

Re: Deuce-----what is he worth?
im gonna go in a different direction and say that his worth to this team is greater with him on it and not somewhere else.. our season went downhill the very play that he was taken off the field.. without deuce our rushin offense wasnt very good... even with reggie.. partly b/c he was hurt.. but mostly b/c we didnt have anyone to pound the ball... hopefully he can make a full recovery b/c without deuce.. i dont see our runnin game picking up till reggie figures out how to run in the NFL

Re: Deuce-----what is he worth?
hate to say it but i can't beleive he can reach his old form.reggie is the future, but only if we upgrade the line play for more " POWER " blocking to open the inside holes.we either do that or get bruiser banging back

Re: Deuce-----what is he worth?
I agree ssmitty, he's the best running back on the team when he's healthy. He's a proven back who can grind it out, but can also bust the big one. I would love to see him retire a Saint, but I'm just not sure if him re-working his contract is even a possibility.
