There is no chance in hell that Hester lasts beyond the fifth round.

He'll probably end up drafted, but he's a 3rd tailback at best. Good WC fullback, but you need tight ends in that style offense first.

If I were the saints i would look at hester in the fourth, especially if Deuce doesn't return.

Does Deuce have a roster bonus or some money coming to him March 1st. because I'll bet we know if the SAINTS will keep by then

Re: check out mr. irrelevant in this 7 round mock......
Hester has special teams ace written all over him. The problem with Hester is he doesn't project well as a FB or a HB. That is why he will probably last until round 7 or maybe not get drafted at all. Of course since he did play on a national championship team, it's probably safe to assume he will at least get drafted. The thing I love about Hester is his heart for the game. He is the type of guy any team would love to have. If he is given the opportunity to run the ball, he could surprise some people. I think the Saints should only consider him in either the 6th or 7th round, but I would rather see them keep going defense. If Hester is not drafted, the Saints had better pickup a telephone and call him.
